Garlic & Herb Grilled Lobsters

Ingredients

  • 4 each 1 lb Atlantic lobsters
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp parsley

Instructions

Blanch The Lobster First

  • Blanch the whole live lobsters in boiling salted water for 2 minutes to kill the crustaceans prior to grilling. 
  • Shock the lobster in ice water to stop the cooking process, and prevent the lobsters from over cooking.
  • Cut the cooled blanched lobsters in half from head to tail. Chop the fresh parsley, and set it aside.

Grilling the Lobsters

  • Pre-heat the BBQ or cast iron grill, melt the one cup of butter in a pot. Mince the garlic, and add it to the butter once it's melted.
  • Brush the cut open lobsters with the garlic butter and place flesh side down on the grill.
  • Grill the lobster on the grill for 5 to 7 minutes until the meat is nicely charred and fully cooked.,
  • Brush the grilled lobsters with the remaining garlic butter, and sprinkle with the chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
